How to install smartsvn on Fedora 10

1. Visit the following url for downloading:

http://www.syntevo.com/smartsvn/download.html

2. Copy the downloaded file to /usr/local (or to into a directory or your choice)

cp smartsvn-generic-6_0_8.tar.gz /usr/local/

3. Change the current directory

cd /usr/local/

4. Unzip/untar the file

tar -zxvf nameof.tar.gz

5. Ensure, that the correct Java Runtime Environment is installed on your system

6. start the application by using the launcher script file smartsvn.sh in the bin directory

cd smartsvn-6_0_5/bin/
./smartsvn.sh
